Median Sales Price Drops 27% Aug 2009 vs Aug 2008! The median sales price of all homes sold in Monterey County dropped by 27.2% this past August compared to the same month a year ago! The median price (the price which half the homes sell for more and half for less) was $218,500 this August 2009, compared to $300,000 in August 2008, according to latest figures reported by San Diego-based DataQuick.Median Home Price Drops 15% May 2009 vs May 2008! The median home price in San Luis Obispo County dropped nearly 15 percent this past May compared to the same month a year ago! The median price (the price which half the homes sell for more and half for less) was $370,000 this May 2009, compared to $434,500 in May 2008, according to latest figures reported by San Diego-based DataQuick.
